NEWLY ORDAINED PRIEST AND NEW ASSIGNMENTS
Rev. Fr. Markjill A. Manalili is the youngest member of the Clergy Family. He was ordained in his hometown, Dinalupihan. Bataan in the Parish of St. John the Baptist last November 21, a Monday, but not an ordinary day. It was also his Birthday and ordination day. His birth is meant for the Priesthood! Amen!
Rev. Fr. Markjill is now assigned as Parochial Vicar in the Parish of St. Nicholas de Tolentino, Mariveles, Bataan. The new Parish priest is now Msgr. Hipolito Araņa, formerly assigned in BEPZ Chaplaincy. Rev. Fr. Santy Detablan after arriving from Filipino Mission Society was assigned now in Our Lady of Fatima in BEPZ. These three servant leaders will form the so called Team Ministry of Mariveles. Let us pray for their success.
Msgr. Hernando Guanzon is the new Parish Priest of Abucay, Bataan in the Parish of St. Dominic de Guzman. Msgr. Romeo Banaban has already reached his retirement of 65 years old last September 5, and now became resident priest in the Cathedral Parish of St. Joseph, Balanga City. He is the Vicar General, and also the Youth Director of the Diocese and the Parish of St. Joseph Cathedral and has never lost his energetic zeal in the ministry.
By the grace of God, may we pray for more vocations as priests to be and priests who have become priests already. We want to rediscover the call within each moment of the priesthood. So that we can share the mystery with other dedicated men and the story will become the endless Story of the anointed ones called by God as PRIESTS! |
