“HABEMUS NOVUM DIACONUM” We have a new Deacon! Ordained by Most Rev. Socrates B. Villegas in Balagtas, BULACAN last August 9,2006 REV. ROBERT LIM DEL ROSARIO Belongs now in the Order of Deacons incardinated in the Diocese of Balanga.
Though a Bulacaeno, just like the hero and king of Filipino poets, Francisco Baltazar, who married Juana Tiambeng of Orion, Rev. Robert has found another beauty in Bataan in the celibate life of serving and loving the Local Church of Bataan.
Being called, chosen, and ordained Rev. Robert Del Rosario believing the Gospel, is now to preach the Gospel, and live out what he preaches. He can also baptize and solemnize marriages, and do some sacramental blessings. Diakonia means serving in the table of the Lord assisting the Bishop and priests in the Eucharist and help minister in the pastoral mission of the Church.
He is now in the Diaconal Formation Program of the Diocese of Balanga and currently assigned in Dinalupihan, St. John the Baptist Parish with Msgr. Edil Cruz, as parish priest. Let us pray for Rev. Robert as he traverses the road to the priesthood.
